Port Stanley Sailing Squadron along with the Ontario Sailing BOOM program will be offering a sailing school for both junior and adult sailors. The 2010 season program will be held at the Port Stanley Sailing Squadron facilities with equipment and instructors supplied by Ontario Sailing.
The Junior Program which is for 8 to 14 year-olds will be held daily Monday through Friday from 0900 to 1600 hours. Participants learn the basics of introductory and intermediate sailing with much of the time spent on the water actively sailing under the watchful eyes of the instructors and assistants in chase boats. The instructors use games and fun activities to make learning how to sail fun both on and off the water. Canadian Sailing Association Level Awards, White Sail I and II, will be presented where applicable at the end of the course.
The Adult Program will be held daily Monday through Thursday evenings from 1800 to 2100 hours.
A one week White Sail I & II Program will be held commencing on July 26th 2010:
July 26 to July 30th 2010 White Sail I & II daily for children 8 to 14 years of age
July 26 to July 29th 2010 White Sail I & White Sail II evenings for adults
